Ms. Fitzback, who speaks both English and her native French, has more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing with banking institutions, real estate developers, and private investors. As co-managing director of Groupe Lomar, Ms. Fitzback heads the company’s residential sales division. Previously, Ms. Fitzback was the in-house director of sales and marketing for a South Florida developer. As a principal of Groupe Lomar, an international real estate services company, Mr. Couf leads the company’s real estate development and business lending divisions. Mr. Couf has completed three high-rise projects in South Florida, one on the ocean and two on the Intracoastal Waterway, consisting of condominiums and a condominium hotel plus private residences and boat slips. His international experience includes working with a private bank in Geneva, Switzerland, and an insurance company in Paris, France.
Mr. Couf has also arranged the master plans for and participated in the development of mixed-use retail and resort destination projects with golf courses and marinas in Antigua, British West Indies; St. Martin, Netherlands Antilles; Phuket, Thailand; and Abaco, Bahamas.
Real estate development began in Clearwater, Florida, where Mr. Couf completed single-family homes, office buildings, rental apartments, and a master-planned community of condominiums, a golf course, and a hotel. Mr. Couf’s broad experience, coupled with his accounting and banking background, has enabled him to secure the debt and equity financing vital to successful real estate developments.
